I made this for online users who'd like to send friend requests. Keeping offline profile professional, because you've probably heard stories about how colleges and companies look at Facebook pages to check for seriously bad loser flag trips.

 

I'm a Christian who dedicated his life to trying to live an obedient, faithful commitment to Jesus Christ  I believe that the Bible is the true Word of God, and I hold to what I believe as doctrinal essentials to my faith, however, I recently have backed away from seriously pursuing theology because I think my church makes it the clearest: Jesus Christ is what matters the most.

 

And yet, we see him so little.

And if we do see him, it's usually not the Jesus of the Bible.

 

I want to shine, to be a light in this pitch-black cave, and to help share that light with others. I'm struggling with a lot of things day to day, but I have the innate hope that God is timeless, loving and personal, sovereign, good and almighty. That he's always there for me. And my faith that I am saved not by myself or what I do but through Jesus's sinless life offered up on the cross and subsequent resurrection three days later fuels my heart.

-I cannot recall the dream too well, only bits and pieces of it.

-I remember a definite first half of the dream that was fairly coherent.

-Looking at it now, I think it was a family reunion of sorts, but the scenery seemed to me that it might have sprung from House of Flying Daggers, or maybe the jungles pictured in the video game Uncharted.

-At first, I was part of some group (vague memory on who they were, what they looked like), but I was focused on taking pictures at the time.

-That probably comes from right before I went to sleep, as my mother and I were flipping through old pictures I had previously taken this year, which stood out vividly as sentimental precious images, to me.

-One of the pictures I had tried to take was of a temple of sorts, I believe, it was made of grey stone, and the picture I tried to take centered on a kind of mirror, but it was tilted because I saw not my reflection but the image of something above or beyond me.

-During all this picture-taking, the final picture I tried to take was of some type of wealthy Spanish house or building. I can recall our group (was it the family in the reunion?) being escorted by a man who seemed like a cross between Zorro and the main hero from the Princess's New Bride movie. He was a pleasure to have, and even let someone else, and then me, take a photo of him alongside the Spanish house.

Summary:

-Just more vague points, but the reason I'm documenting this dream is because it seemed so familiar. I've never had the exact same dream twice. However, some points from some dreams do seem to reincarnate themselves in other dreams.

-There was an earlier part to the dream that I fail to remember.

-I remember there being a pool at some point, rather large in size. It was one of those ones where the water level would rise and sink with waves.

-Moving to some corner, I found a couple of oddly shaped rocks. When I splashed water onto them, they seemed like normal eroded pool siding. After a wave crashed into it, the foam from the crest of the wave revealed a series of a kind of hieroglyphics.

-The "runes" were them translated by a girl who I believe came from my school. Of Mexican descent, she was able to read them while I could not. I believe the dream seemed to shift towards that Pirates of the Caribbean-esque Spaniard tint at this point. I don't recall what the translation was, but I remember hearing it word by word/rune by rune in the dream.

 

Why do I fall into depression?

Because I do not believe I am worthy of happiness.

Do I not want to be happy?

No, I do.

Why not be happy, then?

Because I don't have a right to be happy. There are so many people in the world who suffer, and live horrible lives every day.

But your life is happy, right?

Yes, I live a happy life.
