Whenever people talk about basketball, it is almost impossible not to hear the name Michael Jordan. It is without a doubt that Jordan is the greatest player ever to play the game of basketball. Many sports analysts, members of the media, and even fellow basketball players believe that he epitomizes greatness in the sport and up to this day, his skills on the court are still unparalleled.

Basically, Jordan first showed signs of his greatness as a college basketball player for North Carolina. During the 1982 National College Athletics Association Finals, he made the game winning shot against Georgetown University. That moment was a pivotal moment in his career as he was subsequently picked third over-all in first round of the 1984 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls. He went on to win a variety of individual accolades including several NBA championships, including the Rookie of the Year in 1985.
