Lena was sitting in the house, playing the X-Box.

It was a few days after the Bundesvision now, and she was playing the new Call of Duty game, which, in a landmark court ruling, had been banned in Britain, as the British found the game offensive.

With the unhabitable state of America, due to the actions of Yusaki and partly the actions of his company Poketech, and the fact that everyone who was in America was now stuck in the PVR, the island of Britain found itself without allies. Japan, too, became isolated, but not as much as Britain. This game was not developed by the original 'Call of Duty' company, but by a French company who wanted to humiliate Britain. France had been getting very friendly with Germany lately, but had ignored Britain completely. It was rated as a bad game, but, the controversy surrounding it made sure it was a bestseller.

"Quick lads," the German officer in the game commanded, "We must rid this place of the British!"

And suddenly, bombs flew down from the sky and started blowing up the map and pictures of destroyed buildings popped up on the screen.

It was a cold October night, the first signs of November were now beginning to frost the trees. It was now only a few weeks after the 'PVR' incident, and that meant it was still in the news, everywhere.

Stefan was driving the car to the Berlin Stadium, where the Bundesvision was going to be held.

Lena was sitting next to him in the passenger seat.

"Wow, a Bundesvision in October?" Lena asked, "That's a little late, isn't it?"

"Well yeah but after the whole PVR thing I thought I'd take a little break from all this for a while," Stefan said, parking the car in the reserved space, "But now we're back!"

Oscar Loya sat on the grass, his faithful pikachu sitting beside him.

"Pikaaaa.... pika pika?"

"No, I'm alright Pikachu," Oscar said, "Just thinking, that's all."

"Pika pika pika?" Pikachu said, as if to ask, 'about what?'

"Just how we got here, and such," Oscar petted his loyal Pokemon.

Daniel Diges was walking down the road.

Spanish flags hung up on all the houses, even though the World Cup had been won a couple of months ago, the happiness it had brought to Spain could still be felt all around.

Daniel smiled, he remembered the celebration on that night. Fireworks lit up the sky, parties filled the streets and cheering could be heard from all around.

He walked past some shops, walking into a quieter section of the city.

A voice called from the distance, "Daniel? Daniel!"

Tom Dice sat on the grass of the park, leaning against a tree.

He strummed his guitar gently, playing a soft tune to the wind.

He looked across at the little Belgian streets, it was a beautiful city.

Occasionally, people would approach him, but it wasn't his guitar playing that they wanted to talk to him about.

Tom sighed. It was bad enough with the Eurovision, but now... with the PVR...

Ilya Lagutenko watched the news.

"Same old stuff, everywhere's peaceful as usual," he thought, as he reached for his remote and changed the channel.

Sitting next to him, typing at his computer as always, was Yuri Tsaler, one of Russia's most proficient hackers. A few years ago, the KGB had even asked Yuri to work for them as a computer hacker, but he declined, stating that his work with the band was more important.

Milan Stankovic was walking through a shop. It was a strange shop, full of colourful items of years gone by.

"It's good to be back in Serbia again," he thought, pushing his trolley down the aisle.

"Oh wow, you've got to be kidding me, it's you again." a voice called from behind him, "Hey Serb, Serb! Hey, Milan!!!"

Milan already knew who it would be. Marko.

"Hey Marko," Milan said.

Green binary numbers swirled around an empty black sky.

Suddenly, grass started to sprout from the ground, and the black and green sky faded into a more familiar, clear blue one.

Clouds started to appear, and they drifted around, carefree.

Trees started to erupt from the grass, and water cascaded from the sky and formed oceans.

On the ground, a yellow ball started to form, and it grew arms, legs, ears. It looked around, at the strange colours and shapes before it.

Snow fell down all around the Norwegian capital. The trees blew gently in the wind, and all was covered in a thin sheet of snow.

A coach pulled up in front of the Oslo Arena. The coach was painted in the colours of the German flag, and stood out immeadiatly in the blizzard around them.

"Why do you pack so much crap, Lena?" Stefan Raab snapped as he took a lampshade out of the boot of the coach.

Lena simply giggled and went into the Oslo Arena entrance, into the main hall, where most of the other entries where waiting, the others were around the stadium practising.

Harel Skaat was sitting on a chair by himself, most of the other acts had their support with them by now.

Stars twinkled in the sky above Zagreb. Streetlights flickered as snow fell down like a waterfall, over the sleeping city.

There were hardly any cars out after dark, despite this city being the capital of Croatia.
